Statement
Life is unaffordable for many in Clark County. Our growth has not been managed well and our elected leaders have not done enough to address our concerns. In today’s divided politics, I offer a non-partisan approach grounded in listening, showing up and building consensus to deliver real results.
During my career, I have balanced budgets, fought the opioid epidemic, cut costs for taxpayers, and helped to address the mental health crisis. I work with community leaders no matter their politics because the job is to solve problems for you, not bickering. I bring decades of real-world experience and record of common sense solutions to fight for balanced growth, fiscal responsibility, improving public safety and reducing homelessness.
I am the only candidate that will serve you on the Council as my main focus. We must protect what makes Clark County a great place to call home. I have built my career bringing people together, fixing broken systems and delivering practical solutions. I want to use my experience to make sure Clark County works for everyone.

Clark County families are feeling the pressure of rising housing costs and taxes. Rent continues to climb. Many residents struggle to afford their first home. Seniors worry about staying in the homes they worked their entire lives to afford.
Martin believes county government must be disciplined, transparent, and focused on smart growth, responsible budgeting, and policies that expand housing opportunity without sacrificing quality of life.
Safe neighborhoods are the foundation of a thriving community. Martin supports law enforcement and first responders. He also believes public safety works best when there is trust, professionalism, and accountability.
Clark County can support law enforcement while strengthening community relationships at the same time.
Homelessness and behavioral health challenges affect families, businesses, and neighborhoods across the county.
Martin brings deep experience in mental health regulation and public health systems. He believes solutions must be coordinated, data-driven, and accountable to taxpayers. Compassion and responsibility must go hand in hand.
